The DS 4000J leads the industry in supporting the latest Fibre Channel 2Gb interconnects (FC-AL2). The dual loop configuration provides redundancy and disk access up to 200MB/s per loop. The DS 4000J provides configuration flexibility. Each JBOD may hold from one 18GB disk drive up to fifteen 73GB disk drives, or 1.095TB. In addition, the JBOD can connect through a PCI host bus adapter or RAID controller to a server, which may be hardware- or software-RAID enabled. The DS 4000J was designed to be quickly and affordably upgraded to ProFibre RAID subsystems.

The DS 1100J was designed to be quickly and affordably upgraded to ProFibre RAID subsystems.

The DataShield DS 8Xi rackmount and tower product lines include both SCSI-to-IDE and Fibre-to-IDE disk array subsystems are all powered by Nitech's sophisticated RAID controller technology and a PowerPC RISC processor. With advanced firmware functions as well as 64-bit hardware architecture, data is distributed and processed at raging speed. The DataShield 8Xi units house eight IDE drives in hot-swappable disk trays.
